In which moment we normalised watching closets of full walls of shoes?
This is an image that often appears sold as dream closet imaginary

As defenders on freedom, if you want to buy 400 pairs of shoes, you do you.
The problem comes when we are all sold that is the dream and goal of each person, that is the way every person would like to be. When we make you feel a looser because you don’t have the last season designers sneaker, that if you have 4 pairs of shoes your not a successful person on life.
Ones of the things we learn as designers in college is Creating needs.
We need you to buy more , therefore we need you to think you need more. We need you to feel that shopping is fun and that you really need those red sneakers besides the white ones because they are new, they are “special”, because we decided that red is the last season color on fashion, because we will decide that black will be the next season color on fashion, because we just need you to buy again. We need to convince you to spend the money you earned spending your precious time on life in this new wonderful shoe you will always need again and again.
Social system flaws include allowing the public to be misled by advertising and media. Powerful emotional advertising often misleads the public into feeling non-material needs for self-esteem, love and connection to others will be met through consumption.
Can we scape from bad marketing string attached to creating needs practices?
