Or something in between

Years after research about environment, sustainability, you will reach to a very certain conclusion, we don’t know enough. We don’t know everything about the problem and by default we don’t know much about solutions.
If deep dive in on official reports you will find that rough data is insufficient. The interconnected complexity of all factors involved are to big for so less time and the old systems of data recollection fall short to make conclusions. The planet is one and all nations as they act separated and can collaborate, don’t have complete picture, if one country is not participating that has high relevance on emissions for example the data is already failed.
This doesn’t mean what we have until now is incorrect or failed, is just not complete and enough. We have an idea of some solutions and we are trying to implement laws based on them. We need to develop ways to have better and more data , just then we can produce real solutions.
Can we design systems of data that are truthful and gives us a real image of environmental prognose?
